Trident Services prides itself on its support for an empowered workforce that delivers exceptional service. As commitment to Equal Employment Opportunities, we formally acknowledge two key groups as integral in our progression to a resilient, efficient, and proud workforce.
These two programmes are represented as follows:
Trident Services Australia progressed our commitment to respect and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People with our Reconciliation Action Plan; formally endorsed by Reconciliation Australia in 2019 during National Reconciliation Week.
Our journey began in 2018 where we were inspired by stories that endeared a pride of country and respect that is often misunderstood. Our story is now represented in the artwork designed by Trident Services Cairns Airport Operations Manager and RAP Champion – Heidi Warkill, and her cousin, the very well-known Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artist – Sid Domic. To recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and acknowledge the traditional owners of our lands past, present, and emerging requires an education of our existing and non-indigenous team.
The creation of a Reconciliation Plan prides itself on being recognised nationally for excellence in encouraging respectful relationships and creating sustainable partnerships with our local communities to form ‘working together’ opportunities. Our business principles and policies will strengthen the equity and access for members of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to join our team towards building their future careers.
In 2018, Trident Services signed to be a pledge partner with SoldierOn. SoldierOn recognises that throughout overseas and domestic operations, the ADF and greater National Security Community have worked side by side. They also offer support to the Australian Federal Police, Australian Border Force, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and other security agencies.
Our aim is to support the organisation in post service employment, and fundraising and to help build resilient individuals capable of developing and expanding meaningful connection with family and community. We thank these groups for their unwavering service to Australia and our greater interests; and we will continue to invest in you.
